Aurora’s POV

“For how long are you going to avoid me?” Alexis voice echoed in my head

as I continued down the sidewalk without turning around or answering him at all.

I had forced him to take this stroll with me because for a second it felt like the walls of my room were closing in on me pulling me into the ground, and so, I needed something familiar.

He was a part of my world now, no matter that I tried to ignore that fact and move on. But there was no ignoring this feeling anymore, which I could feel creeping up my insides with every moment we spent together and he didn't have to say anything out loud to make it clear.
