I awoke in pain, but it was the kind of delicious pain that can only come from being completely and utterly wrecked. All my muscles were sore, but in a good way. We had spent the whole of yesterday night familiarizing ourselves with each other's bodies.

There was no iota of doubt that I was his. We had finished up late in the night, and we were just barely able to cover ourselves before we slept. I was tangled up with Richard; the blankets were thrown haphazardly on us.
