I waited for them to finish their conversation. Thankfully, Derek was headed to the training grounds to check on something with the guys so I had more chances to get by the dorm unnoticed.
As calm as I can, I tried my best not to look as panicked as I was feeling when I walked in the dorm’s direction. I wanted to run towards the dorm and just confront that woman- but if someone notices me, there’s a chance that they’d report me to Derek, going in disguise was also out of the options, so I slowly made my way there.
“Beta Venus!”
I froze.
I turned to the voice and saw one of the members. It was Pilo, an omega who guards the border. He comes up to me and greets me with respect.
“Beta, I'm sorry for interrupting your walk. But there’s an issue with the southern border that needs to be addressed immediately. We’ve been dealing with more monsters recently, we’ve asked to increase the men guarding the

“Y..You can’t kill me! You n..need me!”I smirked. “I don’t need people who endanger my mission.”“I knew it.” She grins. The color of her eyes subsides and she finally lost consciousness.“I win.”As I was about to snap her neck in half, the worst possibility finally happened. My whole body froze as I felt the intense tension in the air- and I knew very well who was it coming from. My grip loosed on her neck and she fell on the ground.I locked eyes with Derek.“What did you do?” His chest rising, disbelief engraved in his eyes.“She tried to kill me first! Look at my-“When I looked at my wound that was supposed to be at my abdomen, it looked like it was never there in the first place. I gasped, what’s going? Why am I all healed all of a sudden?!“T..This! I don’t know what happened! But this bitch-“
*EASTON’s POV*The incident left major damages in Crescent Moon. With the walls of the dorm collapsing, the members had no choice but to camp outside. We already deployed some men to fix the damages but they said it would take some time.I was on my way to see Alpha Derek after finishing some business with the border patrol when I saw Noah standing in front of the construction site.I walked to him, “What are you doing here? Didn’t alpha order you to get some supplies?”“I asked somebody to do it. As they say, think smart, not hard.” He winks. He’s mental.Shrugging off the thoughts I followed his gaze and saw how damaged our dorm was. Who would’ve thought that this would happen after she has just gone back? Yet I can’t fully blame her, the fact that Cheryl has also a condition perplexes me.So the question is, who started it?“What do you think happened?”
“You-!” I held my bleeding ear.I never met the witch inside of Cheryl that it didn’t occur to me just now how dangerous she is. She just kept on hysterically laughing while her eyes gleamed green, not slightly bothered that she almost bit my whole ear off.She stood up, her gaze still locked at me. Her giggles covered the room after she just gulped down the flesh she tore from my ear. Just what is it? The witch said she had come because of me, she’ll stop after she gets what she wants.“What do you want? Name it.”A flicker of amusement crossed her face, “It’s unfortunate that my spell lacks, but that doesn’t mean you could get away with it. There’s always a price for messing with time, werewolf. It’s time to pay your dues.”“What the hell are you talking about?” I scoffed.“I'll show you. Come here.”“Don’t try anything funny,
Many people observed how Derek, the notorious cold-blooded alpha in the north smiled filled with warmth towards the she-wolf in their eyes. No one ever dared to question where, and who Venus was- everyone seemed more preoccupied with how the alpha gazed so tenderly towards his lover. And so, the ceremony concluded and the whole room cheered for the new couple of the north.A month has passed by then.Derek never set his eyes off her, that one day he soon realized that she was a spy sent to monitor him. On the body of a homing pigeon, he read a report with trembling hands of how she had handwritten a letter towards an unknown receiver. The frustration washed over him for days as he tried to decipher the message. It was a minor report about the current issues of Crescent Moon. It was nothing to be worried about- yet the fact that she was spying on them remained like a scar on his mind. He became paranoid and tried to delve deeper into her secrets.
{"Am I the worst?"} He scoffs in disbelief as he faced her. {“What do you want me to do? You changed- No, you’re way worse than before. You’ve been avoiding this topic for a long time, can’t you just tell me what the hell happened that day!”}{“There’s nothing to know.”}{“Bullshit! Everything started to go wrong since that day! You… I have never seen you smile since that day. You changed. Am I the only one who is affected by this? Am I the only one who can’t seem to endure how you changed so fast overnight!”}As she sat there staring blankly at him, she didn’t know what to say or what he had wanted to hear from her. All she knows is that Derek was at the point where he couldn’t stand her condition anymore. She tried her best to be sad, but it was impossible for her.His words laced with despair, she tried to remind herself how everything mattered to
When Dereksaw her stern demeanor, he felta lump in his throat. He couldn't get used to it, no matter how many times he saw it. he was mortified by his partner's blank expression. It broke his heart.{“Never mind. I asked something stupid.”}Since then, they both grew apart. Derek has been busy preparing the entitlement of the new luna, while Venus, on the other hand, worked endlessly as a trainer. She didn’t have much of a choice, Derek made her busy as possible so she wouldn’t need to see the woman who was with a child. Their distance felt like a thin thread that held them together, and it made them both miserable.Venus, even without her emotions, felt that she was missing a vital part of her. She’d always been like that- yet after meeting Derek, have things changed after all?She stared at the mirror, her entire world crumbling around her. In the same way that she was no longer able to express her feelin
~*~*DEREK’s POV*(Present Day)When I opened my eyes, tears started to trickle down my face. My face facing down the ground, I couldn’t believe what I just witnessed. The dream that I just saw was too vivid and familiar that I believed that the witch was somehow telling the truth.Did I really go back in time?As I got up to stand. I took a look at the surroundings and saw Cheryl knocked out on the bed. I wanted to ask the witch more about what happened but it looks like it wasn’t possible anymore. All of a sudden, I felt my chest tighten. I remembered the last moments of the memories that she made me see. The horrifying scene of my mate and I standing in a room filled with fire.{“Why… Why did you do it?”}{“I lost everything. I’ve always dreamed of living a normal life with you. But I couldn’t, I’m not allowed to.” }{“I… could’ve done
