Chapter 27

"I need blood" Mason mumbled, his eyes were fluttering; he was fighting for consciousness.

"I know you do Mase, I -. "

"You're not getting it from her" Brody interrupted me, moving next to me and pulling me to his side, "she's been hurt too. You can share blood with someone else" he said sternly.

"Fine" Mason breathed deeply, grimacing in pain, "Alli, you alright?"

"I'm fine Mase, honestly" I said, I didn't need him worrying me anymore than he usually did. He needed to focus on himself and his recovery, and as soon as I had slept I would be fine; I was just tired.

"Good" he mumbled, yawning as his eyes continued to try and close.

"Get some sleep Mase" I chuckled as he nodded; nuzzling his pillow.

"I love you Alli" he whispered as he drifted into sleep, "although I know it was you who let the rogue out of the prison" he said. Brody cocked an eyebrow at me as Mason began to snore lightly. I pouted my lip but decided to ignore the fatigue filled comment. I nodded my head towards the door
