The Alpha's Rose - Chapter 15

ROSE

My head is pounding and throbbing and it feels extremely heavy. My entire body hurts, but nothing is quite as bad as my chest. It is by far, the worst pain I have. It is so hard to breathe. And I can’t seem to move either of my arms. My left feels like it is tied up, but the right one has this nice warm tingling sensation moving up from my hand. It doesn’t feel tied up like the left, but like a weight is holding it down.

Ugh, my eyes are heavy too. They don’t want to open up. I try repeatedly to open them. Over and over again, I try. Finally, they start to flutter. When I get them open, I am so exhausted from that effort.

I am looking at an all-white drop-down ceiling that I don’t recognize. It is chilly in the room, and I can hear a beeping next to me. I look down-- fuuuuuck that hurts! I see I am in a bed with white sheets and a lightweight scratchy baby blue blanket. My left forearm is in a splint and propped up with pillows. To my left is a heart monitor machine and IV line

Poor Rose! Being a mom is such hard work. I really felt Rose's barrage of emotions with this cry session. I update this story daily. Let me know what you think.
