Lyra's POV

It was shocking to see Steven there, all this time I have never seen him in Macy's shop before but thinking about it, maybe he has been here the days when I wasn't here.

He was looking at me with a smile, like we were very acquainted with each other when it wasn't the case.

As he made his way over to where Macy and I were standing, I shifted in my.seat and shifted a bit away from him just so I wouldn't be intruding on his personal space.

He smelled good, almost like Asher but there was an obvious difference. He smelled like the forest after a downpour, the leaves after the sun had shone on them.

It was indeed mesmerizing.

Macy's aura changed, she donned the look of a professional, looking like she indeed knew what she was doing running a business such as this.
