I woke up quite too early, thirsty for water. I slowly slid off the bed, being careful not to wake Leo and Kai up.

My ankles hurt and I shouldn't move around so it doesn't swell up. I let out a dejected sigh and gently made my way out, searching attentively for the kitchen.

“I didn't expect you to wake up early,” Zena smiles at me, her smile so bright.

She stood behind the counter, brewing coffee. She adds another cup, “Take a seat, do you mind if I call you Mason? Mr Mason sounds kind of weird.”

“I will appreciate that,” I smile at her, my neck hot, “I'm not even that old and it's too official.”

I settle on the stool and let my eyes look around. This is a multi-billion house and it looks like it has been here for generations.
