Kayden's POV

Three days later, I was standing in the same room waiting to speak to my father again, with Klaus at my side. I've already brought him up to speed on the proposal I made to our father. Despite agreeing with the fact that our sister would be brilliant in the role of Delta, he doesn't think the rest of the Order would agree with the decision.

For about five minutes, we stand in silence and wait. awkward, tense silence.

"How have you been doing, brother?" I finally ask, breaking the silence, as I turn to look at Klaus.
