Chapter 38 – Hope
Lisa's POV
A day had passed since Jonas' birthday party, and it was now time for him to be inducted as the Delta. I haven't seen Kayden since he left me with Klaus at the birthday party, not even during meals. Jonas has refused to let me leave his side. He said he needed me to survive the events that were about to take place. I didn't mind. I'd rather stick with Jonas than Kayden. I didn't want any issues with Klaus. Keeping him content is a priority for me now.
I stare at the note in my hand. It had been delivered by Kayden's driver. He wrote for me to meet him in his room when I was ready. He said he had something important to tell me, and if he didn't answer the door after the first three knocks, I should go right in. The note also said I could refuse if I wanted to.
