Lisa's POV
Kayden pushes himself off the couch. "How do I believe you and believe you after what Dominic revealed? I'm trying my best here."
"The same way I've believed and trusted you ever since I came into your house. We've been alone several times, and each time you could have easily killed me and no one would question your decision, but you didn't. I lost count of the number of times I would wake up to you proclaiming death on me. It's also the same way we've been together and I haven't tried to kill you either."
