Get To Work

*DAMON'S POV

I resumed work again the next day and I was quite shocked to see Myles dressed up with his cast arm.

"Where do you think you are going?" I asked with furrowed brows.

"I don't understand. Aren't we supposed to go to work?"

"Stay back, Myles. At least till you are fully healed. You don't want people to start asking questions about your arm." I persuaded.

"Then I would just stay and I stumbled over the stairs. I would rather go to work than stay behind, doing nothing." He said firmly.

"Whatever you deem fit to do." I gave up and went up to bid my woman goodbye.

Then I left with Myles to work. There was a series of things to do. The collaboration with the Wang family was outside of the Pinnacle world. It was just a personal establishment and I had to start working on it immediately. Then it struck me, that Myles had always loved anything that had to do with entertainment despite his rigid attitude.

So I summoned him to my office.

"You called for me." He said when he entered
