Saving Charles

*DAMON*

The line got disconnected before I could say anything. I was so confused and troubled. Hurriedly, I drove out of the hotel premises and tried dialing the line again.

Then he picked up.

"Charles, where are you?"

And in a whisper, he replied. "I don't know where exactly but I think it is somewhere around the North city."

"Alright."

I stepped on the accelerators and drove off to the North city that was like an hour away from the pack.

*What exactly happened?* This was the question I asked myself all through the drive.

I had to choose a path according to my instincts when I got to the North city, hoping to find him. It wouldn't be so hard by the way. Me and Charles had been together for so long so I had his scent mastered and we could even communicate through telepathy.

As I drove further and further, I picked his fragrance faintly. And I was led to stop at a building where his scent became so strong. The building looked so old with thick bushes surrounding it.
