ALPHA DAMON'S POV

It was a dream. By the time I woke up, I was already sweating profusely. What could her disappearance mean? I was very troubled at heart. The way I was brought made me pay attention to the most little details, even dreams.

Just then I heard the chirping of the birds. Was it morning already? I paid attention to my environment and realized it was already morning and the rainstorm had stopped.

I stepped out of my room and as expected, Zayden was up. I could perceive the sweet aroma of meat stew and the warmth that oozed from the living room.

"Good morning." My cousin greeted, beating me to it. He must've sensed my presence because his back was turned against me.

"Morning." I mumbled as I moved closer. My sixth senses sharpened as I inhaled the aroma of the stew again.

"Snakes?"

"Yeah. I caught it earlier this morning." He replied. I was disgusted immediately.

"I'll pass. I don't eat snakes."

"Then you have to prepare something by yourself." He said nonchalantly.
