SARAH’S POV

I felt no peace of mind. I was so curious and at the same time, annoyed. How could he go on a business trip with such short notice?

The attitude he gave me didn't go unnoticed either. What was up with him? I was the only one that had the right to be angry, not him.

I just couldn't do anything right. He kept crossing my mind and I felt unrested.

I was in the huge kitchen, helping out with dinner preparations for the royal family. Even though Dorathy, the Alpha's mother was the only one around, we still made elaborate meals.
