I fucked up real bad. In my quest to living mateless, I ended up hurting the one woman who fucking wanted me.
It was the first time she showed her emotions and it fucking hurt that I was the cause of her pain.
The lines etched on her forehead when I mercilessly told her I hated her were proof of the anguish she was going through.
I didn’t mean it when I said I hated her; I just wanted to push her away because mates were not my thing.
I stopped believing in them years ago. No, to be more accurate, I despised them.
