Keith had no idea this wasn’t a race. It was a way for me to get away from him and find Jason. He said he didn’t come with his intolerable beta, but I know his scent well. I knew he was somewhere around the cottage and I was dying to know who was lying to me between the two of them.

Why would Keith lie about Jason? Did he?

I went off the tracks of the race to find Jason. He was close, even as we were racing through the woods, I could still pick up his scent which meant he was following us or me. I had to know. It totally makes sense that Keith would ask Jason to tail him since he was coming here alone which would mean that Jason already knows what happened between Keith and me, and they are keeping it from everyone as I expect of the shady duo.
