Stepping up the Investigation

Quinn Magenta's POV

After I left the room in the clinic, I was worried. I didn't show my confusion because I never wanted Lydia to get worried as well.

From the pieces I could pick up from Lydia's statement, the bandits who attacked them used the weapons from my mansion. The ‘curvy swords’ as she described it were limited to my own Pack and it wasn't for sale at any other place. It had to be one of the two things I had in mind.

Firstly, the bandits might have a supplier among the blacksmiths that produced the swords for our own use. This was quite possible as I had only few trusted people among the blacksmiths. I had guards there to make sure everything went well but still, it was penetrable. The guards could be bribed.

Secondly, the guards in the palace might be the bandits who attacked Lydia and the triplets. If they were the one, they would have used the swords belonging to them. There were a lot of soldiers who had nothing to do during this period.
