After I had showered earlier I reapplied makeup to the mark but as I began to sweat and Damien's hand rubbed against the area, I was worried that it would get smudged. I couldn't tell whether that had been a memory or a dream but when I woke up I felt happy. Smoothing was slowly starting to fill me with warm light and something that told me things would be okay.
