Five weeks into the term, Alex's decision to enroll at Brooklyn College of Arts was anything but conventional but judging by Myla's page, it was where he could catch her unguarded. As he walked into the administrative office, he couldn't help but notice the skeptical looks exchanged between the staff members. The air was thick with unspoken questions, and the raised eyebrows spoke volumes.

Unfazed by the skepticism, Alex approached the front desk with a confidence that demanded attention. His presence seemed to fill the room, the subtle shift in energy visible to anyone present. The receptionist, a middle-aged woman named Mrs. Thompson, cleared her throat and offered a polite smile.

"Can I help you?" she inquired, her voice polite but laced with curiosity.

Alex returned the smile, his expression friendly yet authoritative. "I'm here to enroll for the current term," he replied calmly.

Mrs. Thompson's fingers danced over the keyboard as she typed in his request.
