"I should have calmed down a little shouldn't I?", she said with a pout as Noah effortlessly waded through the shallow water.

"Ha! You should", he said, his hiking sneakers soaked and soggy.

"You know you should've removed your shoes before you started, those things are expensive", she glared at him.

"They'll dry out, don't worry Milady, I won't waste 'em", he replied easily. They had gotten out of the stream and were now on their way down.

He refused to set her down no matter what she said or did. She was forced to accept that she would be carried everywhere for the rest of the day. Gradually, her soggy behind dried out.

Myla's excitement became palpable as she could see the hotel. It looked like it could fit in the middle of her index finger so they were still a little far off, but atleast they had seen it.

"Hotel ahead!", She informed the taller man who had most likely seen it several metres before she did.

"Yes! I'm starving", he groaned.
