27. Hoor

He stood there watching her in silence. His body reacted on its own, before he could comprehend he was walking toward her.

He stood right behind her, so close that he could inhale her rosy scent. His eyes lingered on the nape of her neck. Her skin was flawless.

He didn't realize when he placed his hand on the counter and then in the blink of an eye she let out a shrill scream that pierced through his eardrums causing him to stumble a step back as he pressed his ear lightly to cause less damage.

Hooriya swirled around while screaming at the top of her lungs when she found him standing there with wide shocked eyes. She abruptly shut her mouth and swallowed down the rest of her scream.

She opened her mouth to speak but then shut it again. Her heart was pounding in her ears and she had just come face to face with a heart attack.

She abruptly turned around and strutted towards the sink. She opened the faucet and washed her hands hurriedly before drying it with a dishcloth.

It was just him.
