Chapter 2: William

Aurora didn't want to marry Vincent. So she forced Azura to marry Vincent on her behalf. Right now, Aurora is most worried about is Azura will run away.

Azura was locked in the house by her parents. She isn't longer needed to do housework, but she can't go out either. There is a security guy who always follows her and watches her.

Azura felt bored but didn't complain to anyone. After all these years, there isn't one willing to help and protect her. Azura has lost faith in everyone. She could not call for help. She hadn't a chance to escape. Her mother took all of her identity papers. She could only marry. She had to marry someone she didn't even know his face. Marriage is also good. She didn't want to stay at Meredith's house for the rest of her life.

The security guard today is so strange. He looks at her like he has something to say. Azura's phone rings. She receives a text from an unknown number. The text message shows the identity of the person. Who is texting her as Vincent, which means her fiancé? The message line is simply a sentence.

“At 6 p.m. You come to the mall to meet me. I want to discuss the wedding with you.”

Azura looked at the security guard. He doesn't know how to get out. He took the initiative to approach her.

“Mr. Vincent wanted me to take you to the shopping center. Invite you to follow me.”

Azura was startled. It seems that her future husband is a capable person. Even Aurora's bodyguard can bribe.

Azura followed the security guard to the mall. As soon as she arrived, Two strange men took her away.

""Mr. Vincent invited you to a more private place to talk."

Azura struggled but couldn't escape the force of the two men's arms.

"Where are you going to take me?"

No one answered her. They didn't even look at her and went straight to the bar.

She refused to enter but was forced in by two people. They went to the VIP room upstairs. There, she meets a guy whose face is a bit similar to Vincent's.

"Who are you?" Azura asked.

The other just smiled and looked at her from head to toe. He suddenly angrily turned to his two subordinates.

"I asked you to bring Vincent's wife here. Why did you bring this ugly girl here?"

“Boss, that person said this girl is Vincent's wife. Exactly this her, I'm not mistaken."

Poor man holding his head explaining to his boss.

“I remember Aurora is beautiful. The person in front of me isn't beautiful.”

Through the conversation, Azura also knew this man was not Vincent. She looked around and saw the door open. She wanted to run out but was caught by the doorman.

"I haven't done anything to you yet. Who are you?"

His ferocity frightened Azura, tears quickly falling from her eyes.

"I am the daughter of the Meredith family."

"Liar, the Meredith family only has one daughter, Aurora."

"I'm an illegitimate child, don't go out often."

The person in front of her was not Vincent but William, Vincent's half-younger brother.

"Ah! So the Merediths want to break their promise. They see Vincent as disabled, so they don't want to marry Aurora to him."

"I don't know about this."

Azura is still afraid of the person in front of him. Why did he ask her out today? But one thing Azura could be sure of, William didn't mean well.

"Don't bother too much. If you're Vincent's future wife? I'm sorry. You're out of luck today."

Azura struggled, screaming, but no one answered her. Only the music was gradually drowning out all sounds.

Why? Why did all the bad luck fall on her head? She isn't want to marry Vincent. Two tall men cornered her against the wall. Azura despaired.

"What are you guys going to do?"

William shouted to his juniors.

“Didn't you tell us to rape her, boss?

"What a bunch of idiots. You raped her. Can the Merediths even marry her to Vincent?"

"So what should we do?"

William thought for a moment. He just wanted to do something to make Vincent lose face.

"Let her get drunk, throw her in the street, take a video, take a picture for me."

As long as Azura marries Vincent. He can put today's picture in the newspaper. Let everyone know Vincent has a terrible wife. At that time, even the company's stock will plunge and depreciate. Influencing company. Vincent won't be easy to live well.

He and Azura had no animosity. He isn't wanted to harm her, but she is Vincent's wife.

Azura's chin was clenched so tightly that she had to open her mouth. Spirits are poured in. The smell of alcohol choked Azura, tears welling up in her eyes.

“Someone, please save me.”

No one could hear her thoughts. Azura quickly became drunk with alcohol.

"Throw her out on the street. Remember to take a picture of her face. I will have to use it later. If you don't do my job well, I will beat you to death."

The three quickly pulled Azura out.

Azura saw a lot of people in the bar. Azura begs them to help her.

"Please help me."

But everyone just looked at her with pity. No one dared step out to help her. Everyone whispers in each other's ears.

"Who is she? She looks like a good child. Why come to this bar?"

"I don't know. But the problem is that she seems to have done something to upset the guest in the VIP room."

"Then who dares to save her?"

"Looks like she's unlucky."

Azura was dragged to an empty street. The other three were about to take a picture of her.

Azura pressed his face against the wall of the house next door, trying to throw up all the wine she'd drunk.

"How can we take close-ups?"

"Let me pull her up, then take a quick picture."

Someone knocked them down before they could even touch Azura's arm.
