Chapter 23

Luna Jessie followed me to our suite to see if Alpha Matthew was still where she left him. When we walked in the door, we were met with one of the funniest sights I have ever seen. Joshua was laying on the couch, on his back, holding the remote as far as he could away from his brother, who was on top of Joshua, trying to get at it. Joshua had his feet against his brother’s chest to keep him away from it. I laughed, “You do know that he could easily break your ankles right now if he wanted that remote bad enough.” I was laughing so hard my stomach was hurting and Luna Jessie was just standing next to me, shaking her head, “Give them a day off work together and they revert back to being boys.” I laughed even harder and had to sit down on a nearby chair. By this time, everyone in the room was looking at me and laughing. I asked, “What’s so funny about me?” Joshua laughed, “You have the best laugh ever!” I smiled, “Okay.”
