That entire afternoon was spent getting dinner ready and then getting myself ready. While I was waiting for the dinner rolls to rise, I made a quick batch of blackberry muffins for our after dinner discussions. As soon as the dinner rolls were done, Josh started helping me put food on the table. I put the blackberry cobbler in the oven. I got a large platter out of the cabinet and took my drunken watermelon out of the spare refrigerator. As I was about to slice the watermelon, all of our guests arrived at the same time.
