Chapter 52

Klaus

I got back home earlier than I expected due to what happened. I still can't get over all that occurred at Nora's house.

As soon as I made my way into the house, I met Justin. He was dressed like he was going somewhere.

"Hey, buddy," he called out.

"Hey," I replied coldly, walking past him.

"Klaus," he came after me in a concerned tone as he followed closely behind. "What happened to your face, bro?" he exclaimed.

I ignored him and just kept walking straight toward my office. I didn't want anyone to see me looking like this at all. What would I tell my father if he saw it and asked what happened?

Claudia too, she would taunt me about how very forgiving I am for letting whoever did this to me go scot-free instead of bringing them back home to get locked up in the dungeon and dealt with mercilessly for their crime.

Justin was the only one I could tell what happened; he is the only one who knew where I went in the first place.
