Chapter Twenty-Four

"What is going on here?" I inquired curiously. I couldn't believe that Dad would accept Lincoln joining the two companies together.

"As I said, you have no other choice since I am the chairman," My Dad said.

I was already infuriated and Lincoln saw this. "Relax, Veronica," Lincoln said. "You will remain the Ceo of the company," Lincoln said.

My mind immediately went to Jake and wondered what had happened since I didn't see him that day in the company.
