I was left speechless, my mind lost in disbelief.

Ava raised an eyebrow at my surprised expression. "Well, what's going on?"

I hesitated for a moment before finally uttering, "Can you believe who just called?"

"It's Chloe she's been showing up around Josh's office," I began explaining.

"And now she's calling you?" Ava questioned.
