Chapter Twenty Two

Suddenly, he said something that surprised me a lot. He seemed a bit nervous and said something that shocked me.

"Would you like to go on a date with me?" he asked. I couldn't believe it. Did he ask me out? I felt surprised by his question.

I couldn't help but gasp, my heart was beating fast. I didn't expect this at all. I felt stunned and couldn't believe what I just heard.

He sounded a bit shaky and said, "I can't believe I'm feeling so nervous."
