Eden POV

I didn't understand why she wanted to be buried here, the place that brought her the most misery. The place that broke her heart. I stared at the stone again, where her body supposedly laid.

“I didn't come with flowers today.” I said shoving my hands in the pocket of my coat. It was getting windy and the sun danced between the rain clouds forming far ahead.

I chewed on my bottom lips and glanced around the burial ground. It was empty, with two people leaving back to their car parked at the end of the road.

Finally alone I squatted down and touched the slate, my knees reached the ground for more comfort and I stretched out my fingers to touch the print in it.
