*GABBY'S POV*

It's been a week since my Dad went into coma.

Yeah sure, I was out of the hospital but we were still worried about him.

Worried about him and the contract he signed to sell me out.

We've purposely missed Rossi's calls a good number of times because we didn't know what to tell him.

Sometime this week, he's gonna come to our house to ask questions and we were waiting.

Well, I was the only one waiting. Once again, my mum was out.

"Gabbyyyyyyy!"

I was supposed to be sitting in solitude in my room watching Tiktok on my phone and this loud human had to come running through my front door.

"Hey Josey, what's up?" I said putting my phone down on my bed.

"Even your neighbors can head the excitement in my voice. Like didn't you hear the way I yelled my best friend's name? And here's you, acting so cold with me. You're supposed to yell, dumbass!" Josey said as she flopped on my bed, fanning herself with her hands.
