*AUTHOR'S POV*

Josey had just flagged down a cab when she heard her phone ring.

She ignored it and got into the cab, as she gave the driver directions on where she wanted to go.

Right now, she just wanted to go home and sleep like none of this ever happened.

She had no idea why her boss always thought so highly of himself or why he always felt the need to put others down and act all high and lofty. Did he really think money was the solution to everything?

If it was, then her friend wouldn't be in the mess she's in.

She took out her phone to see whose call she had missed.

"Speak of the Devil!" She hissed and called back.

"Where did you keep your phone?" Leone asked the moment he picked up.

"In my bag."

"I wanted to ask you something but I forgot. Could you come back to the office right now?"

Not even please? Seriously? Sheesh!

"I'm sorry Sir. I'm already on my way home and we've gone quite a distance. As it is, I'm really tired and stressed out and I just want to sleep." Josey said ho
