This is reality. And not those regular cliche online stories that begin with how the sun rose, splashing the sky with different canvas and how the day smelt like it would be a good day.

Today was terrible even before it fully began.

As early as 4am, I woke up from sleep alarmed by a thunderstorm.

Nature shouldn't frighten me so much when it's fully aware of my phobias..

I had to shut all the windows in the house and clutch my Teddy tightly in my arms.

Yes, I'm an adult.

And yes I own a Teddy, a large one at that.

It kept raining like we've had a drought for seven years until it was few minutes past 8.

Another regular day of online teaching.

Luckily, I had enrolled for a tech class that taught coding and software programming. I had become pretty good at it. So when I lost my job after my failed marriage, I fell back on teaching it to others in order to sustain myself.

I managed to roll out of bed to the washroom.
