Chapter 18, Nancy New Life

Nancy woke up in her bedroom after falling asleep following her bath. She dressed in a light blue gown, sat up on her bed, and realized it was Monday. City X was ahead in time compared to AJ City.

Nancy decided to go out to purchase everything she needed to stay at home. Her stomach was grumbling loudly from hunger, and she felt weak. She had slept for a long time because she didn't have time to rest at the presidential villa after Charles had made love to her. She put on her slippers and walked over to switch on her phone.

Since City X was cold, Nancy grabbed her sweater and put it on before leaving her bedroom. She entered her living room and sat on one of her blue couches. The room was well-furnished with two milk-colored couches and two blue sofa beds. She chose to sit on the milk-colored couch, noticing that night was approaching.

Feeling lazy to leave the house, Nancy inserted her old City X sim card into her smartphone, turned it on, and waited for it to finish booting.

After he
