Chapter 24 - Charles Worries

Senator Logan stared at his wife and then at Charles, and although he knew that he had been trying to contact Nancy's City X phone number, the number hadn't been reachable. But he didn't want to say that to Charles.

"Okay, Mr. Charles," Senator Logan quickly brought out his phone and transferred the phone number to Charles' phone.

Charles stood in the living room with Mr. and Mrs. Marlon, and both parents were seriously worried as they knew that Charles was the president's son.

They feared what he would do to Nancy, and Senator Logan wondered if Nancy had lied to him that Charles and his family actually allowed her to go, or if she ran away again.

"The phone number isn't connecting," Charles said, and Senator Logan frowned.

"I know, and it only connected the previous week. I think Nancy had purposely taken away her SIM card, as I called her to return home and to return back to you, but she refused."
