Twenty nine

Steph looked around the house, seeing all the beautiful decorations. They were too lovely and wanted to make her cry. She held it in and was just really happy.

“It’s really beautiful right?” Lucy said and Steph nodded her head in agreement.

Alex got into the living room also with the event planner.

“Everything is ready, your guest should start arriving soon,” she said.

“Thank you,” Alex said.

The event planner went on to do other things leaving Alex and Steph alone.

Steph turned to look at Alex.

“Thank you to this,” She said.

“It’s nothing,” he said.

In a few minutes, all their friends started to arrive and the first to arrive was Mia.

“I got this for you,” She said, handing over a gift to Steph.

“You didn’t have to,” She said with a smile.

“I wanted to,” Mia replied.

Oliver came up to Mia and Steph while they had been talking.

Steph pulled him in for a hug. “I am glad you could make it.”

“I wouldn’t miss it for anything. I told you I would be here,” Oliver said and Steph smiled.
