Chapter 48

The rains of the previous day could not influence the sun much.

One would have thought that after a heavy downpour, the sun would shine with some level of intensity. But it was the opposite.

The somber nature of the day gave Edward a reason to go golfing.

Adorned in a white T-shirt tucked in over blue jeans, he wore a blue cap to match coupled with a neatly polished black shoe.

Eddy stood firmly on the golf course in the backyard holding on to his favourite driver tightly and carefully.

Along one edge of the track was a cluster of golf balls, and each one of them had the initial 'P' boldly stamped on it to represent the name Parker. Besides the balls was a golf bag displaying a great number of clubs.

Eddy had not played golf in a long time and wondered whether he still had it in him.

"I can do this," he said in his head and set up a ball on a tee, eager for a great drive.

But just when he was about to confirm whether he still had his golf skill intact, Charles shouted from a distance
