Chapter 99: Meeting his wife

“Your real mother is alive. Come over and meet her,” Lucas informed her not bothering to mince words.

“What?!” Belle exclaimed in shock. Everyone including Lucas knew that their mother was dead. So why was he playing such an expensive joke on her despite her knowing she was sad about not ever meeting Dolores.

“Lucas, are you playing with me?” she asked.

“I don’t joking. If you want to meet her then come to my house. If not, don't bother crying to me later about missing out on your second chance to meet you mother,” he said and disconnected the call.

“Who did you call?” his mother inquired.
