"I do not think I'm obliged to say to you the type of relationship between me and my friend, Mr. Howard," Stacy answered sternly when he had asked her the same question since she arrived the second time.

"But I answer every one of your questions. Should you not answer mine as my doctor?" He asked her again, not caring about the manner in which she snapped at him. Even if he was angry, he couldn't show it.
