Chapter 3: VIP Room With A Drunk Woman

Ajax Steel’s Point of View

“Fuck. She’s making me insane,” I merely whispered as the drops of water coming from the shower crashed down my body.

I drowned myself in frigid water, trying to recalibrate my mind after what just happened. The lady whom I bumped into stuck in my head on the spur of a moment.

I admit, when I saw her face, I got fascinated by it. She has a round face, pinkish lips, long eyelashes, and natural hair. The dress she was wearing e was enough for her curves to stand out. Not to mention her porcelain skin shimmering because of the light.

While the cold water runs down my body, trains of thoughts stop in my mind. Livia's face seemed familiar nonetheless, undertake my best to recall where I saw her but I failed. Regardless, I think that I’ve seen her somewhere but my sole problem is that I can’t remember when and where.

The drops of water can be heard even if I already had my towel around my waist. Going out, I saw the stranger I’d met sleeping soundly on top of my bed.

As I scanned her body on my bed, I took a deep breath, worrying about how to contact her friend who came here along with her. I had no choice but to bring her here. She lost consciousness when we bumped and accidentally held my thing.

Fuck. I’m not sure if she did that intentionally or did she just accidentally hold it because she was drunk. Fucking frustrating!

I opened my phone and saw what time it was already. Gladly, my meeting with my other business partners is already done before this accident might happen. They asked me to come to the club owned by one of my friends.

As a successful billionaire who owns a bunch of real estate, companies, hotels, and resorts, I didn’t like the lascivious atmosphere of a club. I find it indecent, with too much noise and skanky people which happened to be the first reason why I get irked. Regardless, I’m glad that the club where I am has VIP rooms a customer like me can avail of.

A woman who seemed tart is what I’ve hated but had exemptions. I once had a wife, but not the usual one everyone has. We married due to business. Well, I can call our relationship as married with benefits. Nothing more than that.

Nevertheless, I have never felt the same thing as I forthwith discern toward her; the strange woman who’s with me. My past wife didn’t give me an attachment even if we live under one roof yet this one made me smitten, caught my attention, and would drive my sanity away one day.

I felt like a substance within my heart changed. For a moment, it became warm just by staring at her innocent-looking face.

My clothes were beside the bed. Unhurriedly, I leaned forward to pick it up, yet she was fast on grabbing my hand, making me sit on it as she hugged my arms tight, murmuring words I can’t comprehend.

Slowly, I closed my eyes due to frustration. I wasn’t sure whether it was a good idea to bring the woman here with me or not. For God’s sake, I am only wearing a white towel wrapped around my waist!

I held her hand and tried to move it away when she brushed her cheeks to my arms. With her low angelic voice, she spoke.

“Archer…” she whispered.

Archer?

“Archer Washington, my husband. Baby…” she slowly whimpered.

Upon hearing the name she was slowly whimpering, and I was caught off guard.

Archer Washington— I know him. He was also in the same industry as me yet no news broke out saying he was already married and neither had a wife. But this one… this lady beside me just said it was her husband. But I stopped wondering when I realized he was also a successful businessman like me, he can pull every girl he wanted including this one.

I gulped, clenching my jaw, frustratedly closing my eyes whilst I massage my temple. Why did I let a married woman touch me especially when it's my private part, damn it!

I was about to remove her hand when she pulled me closer. Nothing was supporting my weight, the reason why my body fell to her, pressing my lips against her.

Her hands crawled up to my towel, she was about to remove it when I held her hand, restraining the girl from doing more that could lead us to a more profound scenario.

I was stunned for a moment, mesmerized by the action she inhabited. I took my head away from me. Obviously, she just mistook me for being his husband, and that's why she did that. Yet, what I hated the most is a thing in my body constantly going hard even if it was just a single kiss.

My exasperation toward the woman grew. I picked up my phone, searched for my secretary’s name then dialed his number. Whilst I was looking at the lady, Kevin answered his phone.

“Yes, Sir?” he inquired.

“Do me a background check.”

He answered back. “Go ahead, sir.”

“I want you to investigate Archer Washington and report back to me if he’s been married to a woman secretly. I’ll give you a picture if it's necessary,” I told him coldly.

Kevin is a loyal secretary of mine. He has been working for me for years already and his performance is good. I can’t say negative things about him because I know him well and the things he can do.

I am not certain whether Archer had a wife or the lady who’s I am with was just bluffing because of alcohol.

“I will, sir. I’ll tell you once I’m done.”

As I put my phone down, my fondness became complex. This is the first time a woman seduced me. My body can’t forget her touches and scent, one major contributor to why I can’t distinguish what I truly feel at the moment.

I feel disgusted. She’s a married woman while I’m not and I don’t want my reputation to be tainted just because she kissed me. Regardless, I can’t deny the fact that I liked how her soft lips moved and crashed with mine.

My eyes drifted away from her body figure. This is wrong. You should control your body, Ajax. I was about to get ready to take off the towel when the door creaked, and slammed the wall shut.

Right there, a woman who was fuming mad was looking at me. “What the hell did you do to my friend, you pervert?!” she lashed out.
