"I'm sorry about Mom. Don't think too much about what she said," Roswell told me.

We finished dinner, and now we are just drinking on their spacious veranda upstairs with Vera. Agatha has already fallen asleep, and a nanny is watching over her there, so I feel safe.

"I really can't stand with her anymore, Roswell. She thinks too highly of herself!" Vera said with annoyance still in her voice.

I found out that their relationship with their mother is not quite good because she is with another man. I also found out from Vera that the Beatrice she was referring to earlier is the daughter of their mommy's husband.

"And I'm so sorry for whatever she said to you earlier, Kali. Don't worry, I won't let that happen again," Vera added, then she looked at me.

I just smiled at her and nodded because they were saying sorry to me earlier. I told them that it's okay, even though I was hurt by what their mommy said. Well, there's nothing I can do because they themselves said how cruel it is to them;
