Chapter 9: I'm her Husband

"I'll take you home if that's okay with you," Roswell told me.

We were able to tell Aunt Cindy that we were going home because it was late afternoon. She doesn't want to help me at the restaurant because they already have a lot of work there. She said that I should just spend my time with Agatha.

"No, it's okay. It's still early. We'll just take a taxi," I answered him.

I was nervous on the way out because we had to go through the dining room. I was still looking for Annie to ask if Anthony was still there, but I couldn't catch her. I was very grateful when we got out of the restaurant without seeing Anthony.

"Please, Kali," he pleaded.

I was about to speak to say that I was not willing for him to take me and Agatha home again, but someone suddenly called me.
