Chapter thirty three

The house of Percove was having a dinner later that day to launch the industry. Weruche stood in front of the mirror wondering what to wear. All her life, she had not dared to wear makeup, and when her classmates in grade school had started getting over aware of themselves, worrying about being late bloomers and covering their face with makeup, Weruche has prided herself in her ability to remain natural. Somehow, she knew that was what Emeka expected of her.

She did not feel so proud now as she stood in front of her full-length mirror unsure of what to do even with her hair.

There was a slight knock on the door and the person who had knocked threw it open without waiting for her to answer. Weruche found herself staring at a tall blue-eyed blonde.

The girl give her a quick once-over 'Ok, I agree. You're beautiful.'

'Sorry?'

She waved her hand dismissively. 'Don't apologize. The worst way to start off a career in fashion is with an apology.'
