Chapter Twenty Seven

Mirabelle walked into the living room with a smile on her face but it soon faded when she saw the clothes strewn around on the floor then her gaze travelled to the couch and her heart stopped for a nano second before it picked up speed, thumping madly in her chest as she stared at her boyfriend and her cousin cuddling.

Chiara was probably naked and so was Cesar though they were covered with a blanket. She stumbled backwards only to crash into the coffee table which roused the lovers from sleep.

Cesar woke up first and he looked disoriented like he couldn’t remember where he was and then he held up a hand to his temple and groaned in pain.

Chiara opened one eye then the other. She stretched like a cat but was shocked when Cesar pushed her off the couch and he shot up.

“What…" He paused then looked down at his body. He was surprised to see that he was just in his briefs then he looked up at Chiara. "What happened here?”. He demanded in a husky voice.
