Chapter Eighty Two

“Good morning ma’am.” Lana greeted as soon as I walked into the kitchen. She quickly picked up a rag from the kitchen island and hid it behind her.

“Good morning Lana. You don’t have to mind me, just keep doing what you were doing before I got here. “ I told her before walking over to the coffee machine and turning it on. “Is Aziel in his room?” I asked as I added the coffee bean into the machine and waited for it to brew.

“No ma’am. He left for work a few minutes ago.” She replied and I wasn’t surprised. Although it was barely 8 am and Aziel never used to leave for work until after 8 am, I knew he wouldn’t be in the house. It had after all been that way for the past five days. Since that moment we had in my room.

I nodded without looking back at her. “And Theo?” I asked just as the brewed coffee started to drip into my cup.

“He’s still in his room ma’am. I haven’t seen him this morning.” She said.
