CHAPTER THIRTEEN

SCARLETT'S POV.

The familiar buzz of the school environment had my lips turning up, and when we got closer to the parking lot and I sighted a few people that I knew, I bursted into a huge grin, feeling my soul come alive again.

"Thanks for the drive, I'll get going now," I told big guy, taking off my seatbelt and getting my mind prepared for the day.

I caught his smile from the mirror and I couldn't help but think the he was way nicer than he looked. He seemed like somebody with a story that I'd liked to hear one day, but that was going to be later. All that was on my mind right now was how to break it to my friends that I was now married to Luca freaking Nicholas.

"Have fun, Scarlett, and be like me. Don't give a damn about what anyone thinks and you'll live a way better life," he advised, gesturing for me to step out and I nodded.
