“Is she going to be okay?” Nicholas asked Roseanne as they were standing far from Coco who was playing outside with Leon. After crying for sometime, she was now playing with Leon.

“I think so, ”Roseanne sighed. “I think she will be fine.” She took a little pause and then murmured, “I envy Coco.”

Nicholas looked at her and asked, “Why?”

He didn't see anything in Coco that could be envied. Instead, all he saw were the things that could be pitied. Her mother left her when she was young. Her father died when she was just five. She was living with her stepmother and brother in a house where nobody knew her identity.

“I know that she had a very pitiful life,”Roseanne said. “I used to feel that she and I had a very similar life. We never had biological mothers. We relied on our fathers. Our father was our entire world. But now Coco has a birth mother. A woman who is very much alive and around her. Coco knows who her birth mother is. And I have no clue about it.”
