Vanessa's POV

I had left the gym, and hurrying back to the east wing so I could just curl in my bed and escape reality for a moment, because I was not sure what had come over me back in the gym. Seeing that tiny baby bulge had hit me with so many emotions that I could not even make any sense out of it.

I was hurrying up the stairs, when my phone began to ring. I raised it and saw that it was Estelle calling. I picked it up, and was immediately hit with the sound of Estelle crying.

Alarm shot through me immediately and I asked, “Estelle? Estelle, can you hear me?”

She sniffled and sobbed on the other end of the call. “Vanessa, I’m so scared right now! I don’t know what to do!”

“Hey, hey.” I said, confused and very worried at the same time. “Calm down, calm down and tell me what’s going on, Estelle, you’re scaring me!”

“It’s my boyfriend. I just got a call that he was involved in a very, very ghastly car accident. I rushed to the scene but the paramedics and already taken him to the ne
