Trinity's POV

She stared at my Dolphin Hospital employee ID, and stared back at me, slowly closing her laptop. “What are we talking about?”

I slide my ID back into my purse. “I’m glad you asked. You recently just accepted a job offer from Mr. Rodri Darnell to be in charge of his surrogate, didn’t you? And you have been to the mansion once, to see her for the first time.”

She looked skeptical and wary, staring me up and down like she was unsure if she should call the police on me. I wasn’t fazed, because I knew my direct, piercing and blatant stare was having the effect I wanted on her.

“Why are you asking me this?” Samira asked.

“I want to strike a deal with you.” I answered. “I was the nurse in charge of the CEO’s surrogate before you were employed.”
