Second mission accomplished

Trinity's POV

His eyes met mine, and the only reaction he had to seeing me… was to blink. Asides that, his face remained as stony and expressionless as ever. It made me feel awkward and disappointed.

Usually, he would ask me what I was doing here. But now, he was acting like he truly doesn’t give a fuck about anything about me. And that burned.

“Hey, baby.” I smiled sensually, batting my lashes at him sensually. “I thought I could join you for dinner, since you’re having dinner alone.”

He stared at me for a long moment, like he was trying to decide if I was worth a reply from him. My smile slowly faded, but not completely. I had to remain nice and sweet if I wanted him to be back on speaking terms with me.

“Judging by your untouched food, I’d say you just got here not too long ago.” I smiled and slid into the comfy seat opposite him. “I’ll keep you company.”

“I don’t want your company.” He finally said, closing his laptop. He did not sound harsh, for once. Yet his tone wasn’t exactly
