Trinity's Pov

As badly as I wanted to get a front view of the action, there wasn't much I could do. Not only was I currently not an active nurse at the hospital, I was most likely on Rodri's wanted list. I couldn't risk exposure just because my anxiety was spiking.

The two nurses that had gotten off the elevator with me, quickly scampered off towards the room. Let her be dead, lord, I quickly said a quick prayer in my head. Vanessa's death would do me way too much good with the obvious crisis I was in.

My excitement soon gave way for confusion. I heard footsteps rushing towards where we were and as I had expected, I saw two doctors emerge in a hasty manner. Another nurse rushed after them with a stretcher and a few minutes later, Vanessa was wheeled into the hallway.
